HISTORY

Vebi Istituto Biochimico was founded in 1944 as a Pharmaceutical Industry for research, formulation and production.

The Cosmetics sector is the second market that Vebi Istituto Biochimico chooses to explore, starting to propose itself with sunscreens, toothpastes and other ointments. A division dedicated to dermocosmetics is created.

For over 35 years Vebi, with its Vebix brand products, satisfies people by helping them take care of themselves every day. A brand with an important wealth of experience, scientific research and profound expertise that is expressed in a range of products with safe and effective formulations that respect face, body and hair. Vebix dermocosmetic products are suitable for careful consumers who seek the right balance between beauty and daily care.

Since 1990 the Institute’s research laboratories have turned to the Cosmetics sector with the formulation of the Vebix long-lasting deodorant cream, still the first product exported in the world.

Today, Vebi’s Beauty & Health division, with its Vebix, Phytamin and Galenica Bio brands, is committed to offering a wide and diversified clientele specific solutions for face, body and hair care.
